ABOUT
A small Korean seafood restaurant near Gangnam Station specializing in soy sauce-marinated crab, spicy marinated crab, soy sauce shrimp and salmon. Its signature sets combine several kinds of Korean seafood marinades with rice and generous side dishes, making it a good introduction to the Korean “jang” style of marinated seafood. The restaurant is tucked inside a commercial building near Gangnam Station and has a casual, neighborhood-restaurant atmosphere.
WHAT LOCALS SAY
visitors mention pork, kimchi jeon, fried egg, seaweed, flying fish roe and seasonal vegetables, making the meal feel much more substantial than a simple plate of crab. The crab shell is especially good for mixing with rice, sauce, roe and fried egg, while wrapping the mixture with Korean seaweed is another popular combination. The shrimp is served peeled, which is particularly convenient for first-time visitors. The restaurant is small, with only a handful of tables, so lunchtime can become busy, but its casual neighborhood atmosphere is part of its charm.
